Asia Cup 2023 Hybrid Model : All you need to know

The reason behind the ‘hybrid model’ was India’s refusal to travel to Pakistan for the Asia Cup. The reasons are citing years of diplomatic tensions and the country’s challenging security situation. The BCCI wanted its Asia Cup games to be held outside Pakistan. There was a potential demand for it in the UAE.

The approval of Pakistan’s Hybrid Model also makes way that Pakistan will travel to India for the World Cup. The ODI World Cup is set to be played in October-November later this year. The much-awaited schedule for the ODI World Cup will be released soon. India will probably play against Pakistan at the world’s largest cricket stadium in Ahmedabad on October 15. The remaining matches of Pakistan could be held in Chennai and Hyderabad. Also Read:Bangladesh Take 370-run Lead On Day 2 Against Afghanistan
