The schedule for Asia cup 2022 is out. As the host country, Sri Lanka is facing a major economic crisis, the tournament has been shifted to UAE. The tournament is set to commence on August 27th. Much-awaited India versus Pakistan will be played on the very next day. The rival countries wait to play each other at international tournaments as bi-lateral series are not played between the two nations. A total of 6 teams will be participating. Asia Cup 2022 Squad

India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh are the 5 teams that are surely playing in the Asia Cup 2022. Whereas, UAE, Kuwait, Singapore, and Hong Kong will play the qualifiers to fill the remaining spot for the 6th team in the Asia Cup 2022.

Date

The Asia Cup matches will be played beginning on 27th August. Sri Lanka and Afghanistan will lock horns in the first contest. Later, the final will be played on September 11th.

Time

All the matches will be played at 19:30 IST. Whereas, at GMT 14:00 worldwide. While in the Gulf Standard Time (GST) matches will begin at 18:00.

Venue

Originally Sri Lanka was to host the Cup. However, due to the economic and political turmoil in the country, the venue has been shifted to UAE. All matches will be played at the Dubai and Sharjah International Stadiums.
