Amy Mickelson is the wife of Phil Mickelson. She (previously Amy McBride) was born in 1972. She attended Hillcrest High School and later, got enrolled at Arizona State University (where she also met her future husband). 

At her university, she used to be a cheerleader for the Phoenix Suns of the National Football League (NFL) team.  

She is a breast cancer survivor. She was diagnosed with the deadly disease at the age of 37 after which Phil stopped playing golf for a while. But as they caught cancer early, it was treatable, and she did beat it after battling for 11 months.
