The second Grand Slam of the year is now on the doorsteps. The French Open 2022, also popularly known as Roland Garros will commence soon from the end of May. French Open 2022: Schedule of the tour
French Open 2022 is scheduled from 22 May to 5 June 2022. The qualifiers take place one week prior to the commencement of main draws matches.

This year the prize money offered is €34,367,215. The winner will be given prize money of €1,400,000 for both Women’s and Men’s champions.
Order of Play for the first round
The 1st-seed Novak Djokovic will play against Nishioka in the very first round. The second seed and World number two, Daniil Medvedev will take on Argentine, Facundo Bagnis after an early loss in Geneva Open 2022. Alexander Zverev’s work seems to be a little easy as he will play against a qualifier in the first round. Followed by another early thunder for Jordan Thompson as he will face Roland Garros’ favourite, Rafael Nadal.
Many tops 15 players will play against the qualifiers which are, Auger-Aliassime, Hurkacz, Schwartzman and Fritz. After the continuous loss of 4 matches, Dominic Thiem will look up to winning his first match by playing against Hugo Dellien. This year’s draws have been very exciting as Richard Gasquet will face Lloyd Harris of South Africa and another firing match will take play between Casper Ruud and Frenchman, Tsonga who entered as Wildcard.
In the first round, we will have a different order of matches played between two qualifiers. Stan Wawrinka will take on Moutet to enter the second round. The order of play is divided into four quarters in each quarter we got 16 matches.
