Veteran New Zealand pacer Tim Southee will play for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the IPL 2022. Southee shared a photo of his marriage to his fiancee on March 20, 2022. The speedster has played 85 Tests, 143 ODIs, and 91 T20I matches since making his debut in 2008. He has 338 Test, 190 ODI, and 111 T20I wickets to his name. Southee was also part of the New Zealand team which won the inaugural ICC World Test Championship. Where the Kiwis beat India in the final, last year. In IPL 2022 the pacer will be seen in purple and gold. Southee was bought by the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in IPL 2022 auction for INR 1.5 crores.

Tim Southee married his long time girlfriend and fiancee Brya Fahy. The couple got engaged in 2019 and now got married as well. Brya is a freelance makeup artist and hairstylist from New Zealand.
