Even though WrestleMania 39 is still a year away, there are some matches that could potentially be on the schedule. Becky Lynch disclosed she competed at SummerSlam while dealing with an injury and will take some time off to heal. Many anticipate that WWE will begin promoting a Lynch vs. Rousey fight at the company’s biggest event of the year when she returns. However, given that this is the new Triple H period, perhaps that strategy will be altered.

Many people are hopeful that we will finally see The Rock return to WWE for a feud with the current WWE Undisputed Universal Champion. Roman Reigns will almost certainly also have a significant match at the event. It appears that Reigns will face a different opponent at WrestleMania in 2019 after having an amazing match against Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam, which was promoted as their final match.
