Drew Gulak, a former cruiserweight champion, was allegedly set to make a WWE comeback on SmackDown last week. But according to a Report, his return to the WWE has been scraped. The Intercontinental Champion Gunther & Ludwig Kaiser defeated the 35-year-old and Ricochet in a tag team match on the Friday Night event, where Gulak was last seen on television. After that appearance, he intermittently participated in house shows while disappearing from SmackDown.
The Viking Raiders were supposed to face Drew Gulak in the squash match on last week’s SmackDown. But for unknown reasons, this didn’t work out in the end. In contrast, the team of Jim Mulkey and Tommy Gibson was defeated by Erik and Ivar.
Will Triple H Bring Back Drew Gulak
He has been a constant in the 24/7 Championship picture and, for a short while, has been a SmackDown backstage interviewer. Now that Triple H is in control of booking, it remains to be seen if something intriguing is being planned for Drew Gulak.
