Rafa married his teenage friend, Maria Perello in the year 2019. Nadal does not prefer to make his personal life much private as he thinks it would not make any effect on his professional career. He has confirmed this news with silence and expects to not ask more about it.
After his marriage to Maria, Rafa spoke about having a family in a press conference just before the Australian Open 2020. He stated, “always wanted to play tennis, then I have one year off, and then start my family”.
