Italian Open 2022: Iga Świątek makes history by winning Rome Masters, registers 28 wins in a row
Świątek just played ten sets in the Italian Open 2022, that is, she won every match without any set down. Also, she lost 19 sets against all opponents during the tournament. She records more than one record by defending her Rome title against another superwoman of tennis, Ons Jabeur.
Ons Jabeur’s drop shots did not work against Świątek’s powerful backhands and equivalent drop shots. Świątek took every advantage of the Tunisian serves from the beginning of the match.
