Spanish Grand Prix Qualifying: All that went down at Barcelona

Mick Schumacher was undoubtedly one of the major highlights at the 2022 Spanish grand Prix Qualifying.

Charles Leclerc seems to be on a roll this season. The young Monegasque has taken the Pole Position at the Spanish Grand Prix Qualifying. As of now, he has four pole positions in six races so far. The other two poles have won by Max and Sergio.

On an overall note, Leclerc’s performance was commendable in all ways. The 24-year-old racer put all his efforts into the Grand Prix. The way by which he salvaged a first lap spin into a pole was mere incredible. In Addition to the pole, he also finished P1 at the three free practice sessions the drivers had.

On other news, the Veteran Spaniard Alonso finished way off from the championship rankings. He had a home qualifying to forget. He went down in the first quarter along with both the Williams and Aston Martins. Latifi inched closer to his impending departure as he finished at the back of the grid. The Canadian is performing poorly so far in the season

Lando Norris of McLaren had trouble with sight and throat pain as he was struggling with hay fever. Alpha Tauri yet again failed to climb ahead and finish in the opening rows. both their drivers lapped poorly compared to others and ended their race in the second quarter.

Mick Schumacher was undoubtedly one of the major highlights at the 2022 Spanish grand Prix Qualifying. The young driver, son of the legend finally crossed into Q3. Haas team pulled a double Q3 finish after so long and they are elated.

The third quarter spiced things up when Homeboy Sainz was in front row for the provisional pole. Sainz was in whole Spanish proud moment. The Spaniard clearly raced with extreme devotion and passion at the home circuit today. However Max Verstappen stole the pole in a few fragments of seconds. It was kind of exciting to watch Leclerc stealing the important pole right under Max’s RB in the last few seconds of the session. Furthermore George Russell finished ahead of Hamilton yet again. To conclude, Ferrari had a pretty amazing Qualification. So did Mercedes and Red Bull Racing. But it is obvious, Haas Ferrari had one of the best qualifying they ever raced in.
