Red Bull F1 team legendary racing driver Sebastian Vettel announced his retirement from the sport in 2022. He is currently enjoying his vacation. But fans want the legend to be back on the grid. After the announcement of Lewis Hamilton leaving Mercedes and joining Ferrari, fans have been eager to see Vettel back on the grid.
Moreover, several racing drivers on the grid will be out of contract at the end of this season. Some might get a renewal, and a few may not be seen on the grid. As a result, fans want Vettel to be among the top teams in 2025. Maybe, if not in 2025, fans want him to race for the Audi F1 Team in 2026.
Looking at these dramas, Vettel talks about his possible return to F1.
Sebastian Vettel said:
“Maybe there will come a time when I would like to return! However, at this moment, things are also going very well without Formula 1.”
A few months ago, when he was asked the same question, Vettel said:
“I can’t say no because you don’t know… If you asked, they would say, I don’t know, but in the end, all of them came back, so I can’t exclude it.”
By they, he meant Schumacher, Prost, Lauda, Alonso, and Raikkonen, who took early retirements in their F1 careers but were back after a few years.

Will Sebastian Vettel return to Formula 1 in 2025 or 2026?
Vettel is still race-fit, and his retirement was completely unexpected news for fans. He has single-handedly carried the Aston Martin F1 team for the past few years. Every fan believed, if he had gotten a better car, he could still win the F1 championships.
Earlier, fans linked his return in 2026 to the Audi F1 team. Now, they are linking him to make a return in 2025 with the Mercedes. Only Vettel knows when he will be coming back to the F1 grid.
