Max Verstappen shares his views about the record-breaking eighth F1 Championship

Every F1 racing driver dreams of winning the World Championship at least once. On the current F1 grid, only three drivers have won the championship, and all three have won it multiple times. One is Fernando Alonso (2 times), the second is Max Verstappen (three times), and the third is Lewis Hamilton (7 times).

Lewis Hamilton is a seven-time F1 World Champion, the joint most in history. He was about to make history by winning his eighth F1 championship in 2021, but luck wasn’t favoring him.

Based on the current scenario, it seems impossible for him to win his eighth, but someone on the grid might do this. None other than the Dutch racing driver, Super Max.

Verstappen is currently competing for his fourth F1 championship and will be halfway to the record-breaking achievement if he wins this season. When asked about his thoughts on the record-breaking 8th F1 championship, his answer might surprise you.

Max Verstappen said:

“I don’t have to stay for seven or eight world titles! I have already achieved more than I could have ever dreamed of.”

Verstappen has been of a different breed since his F1 debut. He became the youngest driver to start a race, and since then, he has been breaking records. Last season, he did the unimaginable and broke records in every race.

Even if he doesn’t win seven or eight F1 championships, his legacy will last forever in F1.
