In the opening few minutes of the second half, the two sides matched each other point for point. Jaipur maintained their six-point advantage. The Pink Panthers were reduced to three players on the mat by Delhi. The defence reacted with a Super Tackle to extend their advantage to eight. Jaipur took an 11-point lead after two raid points by Hooda and a spectacular tackle on Ashu Malik.
With victory out of reach, Delhi focused on cutting the gap to seven points in order to gain a point . Vijay contributed three raid points in two tries to that goal .
