He has scored 53 goals in 152 appearances for the Merseyside club since then, culminating as the team’s leading scorer last season. As the team narrowly survived relegation from the Premier League.
Richarlison entered the season after an intense summer in which he represented Brazil in both the Copa America and the Olympic Games, scoring 10 goals in the top flight.
Six of the goals came in Everton’s final nine games as they ended 16th, four points above the relegation zone.
What Richarlison could mean for Spurs?
The 25-year-old can operate everywhere in attack and like to smash the ball past his opponents. Using his speed to defeat people when rushing in from either wing. Richarlison is a tireless attacker, as evidenced by his excellent Work Rate , Aggression , and Tackling for a striker.
The Brazilian has good qualities and might develop into an elite forward under Antonio Conte. Similar to how the Italian turned Diego Costa into one of the Premier League’s top strikers during his time at Chelsea.
Richarlison’s qualities and versatility make him a desirable attacking option for many clubs, and the 25-year-old could provide quality alongside Harry Kane, Son Heung-Min, and Dejan Kulusevski.
Tottenham Hotspurs are also negotiating the transfer of Clement Lenglet from FC Barcelona. After a shaky defense line last season, Conte has plans to stir the defense strategy with this loan.
The French defender has started seven league matches for the Catalunya last season. Lenglet also has 15 caps for the French side.
Tottenham have qualified for this season’s UEFA Champions League and will give the Brazilian a better platform in Europe.
