His most successful tenure was with Celtic where he coached for 13 years. He won a total of 25 trophies with Celtic including 10 Scottish league championships, 8 Scottish Cups, 6 Scottish League Cups, and a European Cup. He then also managed Leeds United and the Scottish national team. Stein sadly passed away aged 62.

Valeriy Vasylyovych Lobanovskyi stands fourth on the list of managers with most trophies. He first took up coaching with Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk in 1969 winning the Soviet first league with them. Then he joined Dynamo Kyiv where he had his most remarkable time, winning 28 trophies with the club. He won the league 8 times and also won the European super cup in 1975.
