Scamacca joined PSV Eindhoven in January 2015 after receiving training at the junior academies of Lazio and Roma. The tall Italian attacker joined Sassuolo in 2017 and, at the age of 18, made his Serie A debut.
He burst onto the scene following a stellar season with Sassuolo, where he scored 16 goals and assisted twice in 36 Serie A appearances. His playstyle is compared to the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Christian Vieri, due to his height and dominance as a striker, as well as his skill with the ball and contribution to teamwork.
