FC Barcelona are indeed the talking point of the entire summer transfer window cause despite their staggering financial issues, they have still managed to complete some impressive signings with the likes of Lewandowski, Kounde, Raphninha, Christensen and Kessie in the list. However, it seems that they are not done yet as the Spanish media suggests that the La Liga side is targeting Manchester City’s Bernardo Silva and it is also reported that both the clubs are getting close to agreement between them for the forward.

While the Spanish giants are still trying to find ways to solve their issues around registering their current players, but that hasn’t stopped them to make a move in the market as the links to Silvahave been intensified. According to the Spanish media, City had initially quoted a price of 80 Million Euros for the Portuguese, however now it is stated that Barcelona have agreed a figure between 50-55 Million Euros. But this news has been discarded by the English press as they claim that City are still sticking with their original price tag and nothing has been agreed between the clubs.
Pep Guardiola himself has recently come and said that he doesn’t know what will happen with the future of Bernardo Silva but he has clearly stated that he would not stand in the way of a player who wants to leave his team. Barcelona had previously tried to sign Silva last summer with the player also asking for an exit from Manchester over his lack of minutes, however that situation settled cause soon after that he highly impressed Pep with his performances and was then a crucial part in his plans. All in all, it would be interesting to see how this transfer saga develops.
