Aston Villa Transfer News: Boubacar Kamara forces move to Aston Villa from his ex-club Olympique Marseille

Boubacar Kamara has become the second signing of the English side after Aston Villa signed Phillipe Coutinho on a permanent deal from Barcelona a few days ago.

Marseille star Boubacar Kamara has finally agreed a deal with Aston Villa over his switch to the English side. Kamara’s contract was expiring this May and he wanted a move away from France and Aston Villa reacted quickly and provided him with a pre-contract and signed him for free. Marseille would be unhappy to have not made a single penny out of such a wonderful talent and would now find it difficult to get a proper replacement in that defensive midfield position. Kamara signs for the English side Aston Villa on a five-year deal. He is a top talent and both Manchester United and Atletico Madrid were looking to grab him but he decided a move to the Villa Park. He was a great player for his now ex-side Marseille playing over 170+ games and will look to add his productivity into the Aston Villa midfield now and Steven Gerrard knows what a talent he is and will look to bring the best out of him in the coming years.

Boubacar Kamara Wage and Transfer Fee 2022:

Boubacar Kamara has become the second signing of the English side after Aston Villa signed Phillipe Coutinho on a permanent deal from Barcelona a few days ago. Steven Gerrard knew Kamara would be a great addition for his team in the defensive half and reacted quickly to sign him up on a pre-contract allowing him a wage of 150,000 pounds weekly salary keeping him at the club until 2027.

Huge Boost for Aston Villa in the midfield:

With Kamara in the squad, it will give Steven Gerrard a huge boost in the midfield. He will be pairing up with exciting midfield lineup of Douglas Luiz, John McGinn, Phillipe Coutinho, Emiliano Buendia and the stunning youngstar Jacob Ramsey the next season.

Problems for Marseille:

With Kamara gone and rumors about William Saliba set for a return to Arsenal, it will be a hard summer transfer window for Jorge Sampouli to find a proper replacement. There are talks that Marseille are trying to bring Miralem Pjanic into their side but only time will tell if the French heavyweights can bag some good signings this summer.
