Los Angeles FC Transfer News: Juventus and Italian legend Giorgio Chiellini signs for Los Angeles FC

Juventus and Italian legend Giorgio Chiellini has finally joined Los Angeles FC after a long list of offers from other MLS clubs. Chiellini was out of a contract after bidding farewell to his long-serving club Juventus where he played for 18 years after he joined in 2004 from Fiorentina. He made a total of 561 appearances for the club and scored over 36 goals and also captained the club for a long time. He was considered by many as the true heir to Paula Maldini for the Italian national side. After countless memories, celebrations and emotions, it was time for him to bid goodbye to his club and move to a place elsewhere. A lot of clubs around Europe were looking to pounce for him but he was only looking for offers from MLS and LA FC offered him the perfect contract and the deal was confirmed last night. Juventus are currently struggling as a team with nothing working out for them having barely made it to the fourth place in the league in last two seasons. Chiellini signs for the MLS side LA FC on a 18-month deal keeping him in the club until 2024. He is a veteran of the game and a true warrior in the defense, having had his prime at Juventus he still believes he has a lot to offer to the game and be a pivotal player for his new side.
