According to various English media sources, it is believed that the deal between Arsenal and Manchester City for Gabriel Jesus is done and completed. It is said that City will receive 60 Million Euros from the North-London Club in order to gain the Brazilians signature. Whereas the Brazilian striker will receive around 12-14 Million Euros per season from Arsenal. This is a deal that the Gunners were following and trying to complete since the end of March and now they have defeated the likes of Chelsea and Spurs in order to sign him.

Gabriel Jesus simply had one condition to join Arsenal which was to have more game time and the London club along with Arteta agreed to it recently. Chelsea and Spurs couldn’t offer him that despite them offering more wages than the Gunners, so this clearly shows the striker’s motivation to play and the dedication he has towards the game. He also swapped Champions League football for Europa League, all these qualities are simply sensational for Arsenal who were looking for a perfect striker. Jesus may not be as good as the likes of Darwin Nunez or Erling Haaland but the work commitment and the tactical play that he has can certainly be very important for his growth.
Arteta would be hoping that Jesus could step up his game and prove City wrong after they did not trust him giving him the game time that he deserved even after Aguero left. Many Arsenal supporters have a mixed opinion about this but Arteta certainly thinks that the Brazilian is the absolute best striker that he could bring after looking at his age and talent too. All in all, Jesus could surely follow the footsteps of Thierry Henry and make a legacy at the North-London club.
