This led to NZ putting 318 runs and losing 4 wickets at the end of the 1st day. Mitchell has been in great form this tour. Earlier, he smashed a century in the first match. However, that couldn’t win New Zealand the match. It was in the 56th over that Mitchell smashed Jack Leach’s delivery for a six. He stepped out and hit the left-handed bowler into a brilliant shot.
