It seems controversy and commotion are following Rajasthan Royals. Just a couple of days back no ball controversy came into limelight in Rajasthan vs Delhi’s match. In that case, ultimately Rishabh Pant was fined 100% of his match fee for his unruly and unprofessional behaviour. Today again another verbal spat happened in the Rajasthan vs Bangalore match.
Parag and Harshal let their emotions let loose
Signing off in style, Riyan Parag hit the last ball of the first inning for a maximum taking RR’s total past 140. He then, seemed to be walking off the field at first. However, he then turned around and started having ranty lines with Harshal Patel, who was held back by a member of the RR support staff.
Bowling the final over of RR’s innings, RCB pacer Patel was taken on by the in-form Parag, who remained unbeaten on 56 off 31 balls. Harshal was hit for 18 runs in his over which seemed to be the root cause for the adrenaline rush between the players. Later after the game, in the handshakes session, it was noticed that both cleverly avoided shaking each other’s hand.
Parag shuts his critics
Riyan Parag must have been relieved for finally managing to score runs. He has been time and again criticised on social media for not delivering for his team. Moreover, his place in the team has also been questioned a lot of times, with this brave knock Parag has announced his arrival.
