The Trinbago Knight Riders are the undisputed kings of the Caribbean Premier League. Formerly known as the Trinidad and Tobago Red Steel, the team has emerged victorious 4 times in the global T20 carnival. In 2015, KKR owners Red Chillies Entertainment and Mehta Group joined hands with the franchise. Eventually, they acquired the team operations in 2016. Thereby, the CPL franchise revamped to a brand new avatar and was renamed Trinbago Knight Riders to become an official inclusion to the Knights family.
