Kolkata Knight Riders have already won two IPL titles in 2012 and 2014, both under the captaincy of Gautam Gambhir. It is a prime innerwear brand which is a part of Lux Industries Ltd. (LIL) group headquartered in Kolkata, West Bengal. Although, Lux cozi and KKR came into partnership long back in 2010, but the deal was deserted off when Akshok Todi, the owner of Lux cozi, got embroiled in a criminal case that was registered against him. However, the two came together again the brand has been serving as the official sponsor for Kolkata Knight Riders since IPL 2016 and has again made it to the KKR sponsors list 2022. It’s logo also appears on the jersey of the team, on the top-left corner.
2. TV9 Bharatvarsh:
TV9 Bharatvarsh is a Noida-based Indian Hindi-news channel and became the 2nd most popular Hindi-news channel in India in the year 2020. It has been the official sponsor of Kolkata Knight Riders since IPL 2020 and has retained the sponsorship deal in 2022 too. Also, the logo of the channel can be seen on the sleeves of the team’s jersey.
3. Reliance Jio:
Reliance Jio is one of the most successful Indian tele communications company which is an ancillary of Jio platforms. The Mumbai-based telecom company has established and sustained sponsorship deals with all the eight franchises of the Indian Premiere League since 2018. However, Jio has been sponsoring the back-of-shirt of the KKR’s jersey since 2017.
