The Punjab Kings (PBKS) is a franchise cricket team based in Mohali, Punjab, that plays in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Established in 2008 as the Kings XI Punjab (KXIP), the franchise is jointly owned by Mohit Burman, Ness Wadia, Preity Zinta and Karan Paul. Punjab Kings (PBKS) Captain and Vice-Captain in IPL 2024
The Punjab Kings are geared up and are ready to participate in the forthcoming season of the IPL in 2024. In the previous IPL season of 2022, the Punjab Kings team secured the 6th position. Despite facing challenges in maintaining consistency throughout the IPL over the years, the Punjab Kings team released Mayank Agarwal and appointed Shikhar Dhawan as the new captain for the IPL 2024 season.

Punjab Kings Captain – Shikhar Dhawan
For the 2024 IPL season, Shikhar Dhawan, is set to lead the Punjab team. Dhawan has been an integral part of Punjab Kings since 2022, and he replaced Mayank Agarwal. Dhawan has also previously served as the occasional captain of the Indian national team.
Punjab Kings Vice-Captain
As of now, there has been no vice-captain appointed for the recent IPL 2024 season. Trevor Bayliss has also replaced Anil Kumble as the team’s head coach. Subsequently, high expectations have been placed upon the team, as the IPL 2024 season has just begun.
