Rishabh Pant Tweets First Time after Horrific Accident: Premier Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant, who survived a horrific car accident on December 30, says he is on the mend following a successful surgery a few days ago in his first formal statement via a tweet since the accident.
On December 30 of last year, Rishabh Pant was returning home from Roorkee to Delhi when he was involved in a terrifying vehicle accident on NH-58. Rishabh Pant was initially hospitalised to a Dehradun hospital before being transferred to Mumbai, where he underwent three surgeries—two on his knees and one on his ankle. Rishabh Pant is anticipated to serve one year in rehabitilation.

Rishabh Pant Thanks Fans and Wellwishers
Rishabh Pant tweeted for the first time after his Car Accident. Additionally, The Indian Cricketer, Rishabh Pant extended his gratitude to his fans and Well Wishers, and wrote,
“I am humbled and grateful for all the support and good wishes. I am glad to let you know that my surgery was a success. The road to recovery has begun and I am ready for the challenges ahead. BCCI’s Supervision of Pant’s Situation
The BCCI requested that the 25-year-old, Rishabh Pant be flown from Dehradun due to injuries to his ligaments and muscles. Later, under the direction of Dr. Dinshaw Pardiwala, a surgeon employed by the BCCI, Rishabh Pant underwent surgery.
Additionally, Rishabh Pant has already been excluded from the IPL, and it has been reported that he would miss the majority of 2024, including the ODI World Cup in India in October and November. The wicketkeeper-batsman was on the sidelines for the white ball home series against Sri Lanka after the two-Test series in Bangladesh in December.
