When Dhoni made his way to the crease, he was just 4 runs away from becoming the second skipper who has scored 6000 runs in T20 cricket. He started smashing from the very first ball of the 18th over as he hit a long six for the delivery. Dhoni made a wholesome 21 runs off 8 balls and helped the team to put up a strong total of 209 runs. Not to mention, Chennai Super Kings defeated Delhi Capitals by 91 runs. With this, he finally stepped into the exclusive club with 6000 runs. Talking of achievements, the Thala of CSK also have a new apparent record in which he is just nine runs away from completing 5000 runs in IPL. He will probably achieve this too soon in his upcoming matches.
