Against PBKS, Gujarat Titans skipper Hardik Pandya announced a playing XI featuring two IPL debutants Darshan Nalkhande and Sai Sudarshan. Let’s know more about them!

Darshan Nalkhande

Darshan Nalkhande in his very short career has become Vidarbha’s frontline seamer in domestic tournaments. In just 22 T20 matches, the 23-year-old right-arm medium pacer has picked up 43 scalps at an economy little above 7. A bona fide whit ball specialist, Nalkhande is also handy with the bat and does not wilt in crunch situations of a match. Previously signed by KXIP, the young colt now has shifted his base to Gujarat Titans. Nalkhande can be a precious addition to GT’s strong bowling attack, adding more fire and fuel to the XI.

Sai Sudharshan

Undoubtedly, TNPL is a big reason behind why Tamil Nadu are such a reckoning force in domestic T20 championships. Several cricketers of the SMAT champions squad got adapted to the high voltage dynamics of a 20-over game and are now shining in the IPL. Sai Sudharshan is the latest addition to that list. A swashbuckling southpaw at the top order, his technique, and temperament make him a special asset to his team. In 7 T20s, Sudharsan has aggregated 182 runs at a remarkable average of 36.40. The 20-year-old is hence a great player in the making and his experience in debut IPL season will definitely boost all aspects of his career.
