The Indian cricketer, KL Rahul has once again been ruled out of England Tour of India. As a matter of fact, he’ll be catching a flight to Germany. His groin injury has not quite healed yet and therefore he’s leaving for Germany to undergo treatment for the same.
According to official reports, the BCCI secretary, Jay Shah has confirmed the news of Rahul flying to Germany. Therefore, as it is apparent, the ace batsman will miss the England Tour. India’s tour to the English country includes a rescheduled Edgbaston Test and a white-ball series.
Jay Shah specifically said, “That is correct, the board is working on his fitness and he’ll be going to Germany soon”. The BCCI secretary also mentioned that KL Rahul will be leaving for his groin injury treatment by the end of June or early July.
Before the England Tour, KL Rahul was also appointed to lead the Indian Team in on-going the 5-match T20I series against South Africa. However, owing to his groin injury, he was ruled out of the series. Another wicket-keeper batter, Rishabh Pant has now been chosen as the skipper for IND vs RSA T20 series.
