RR made three changes to their playing 11

On IPL’s birthday, the Knights will once again walk down the galleries of Brabourne to face the champions of IPL 01, Rajasthan Royals. Both KKR and RR had a flying start to IPL 15 and are currently placed at 6th and 5th positions respectively. While the Knights saw a lump in their form in the last 2 games and will be desperate to avoid a hat-trick of losses.

Samson and his brigade too are coming after a hard-fought defeat against Gujarat Titans. Jos Buttler has been in phenomenal for them with the bat, leading the charts as the highest run-scorer with the orange cap on his head. While the spin duo of Chahal-Ashwin has posed a deadly threat in the middle overs.

KKR will hope for skipper Shreyas Iyer to lead the way with the bat and want senior players like Nitish Rana, Andre Russell, and Pat Cummins to punch back in crunch situations. Perhaps their most valuable buy of all time, Sunil Narine has continued to be the trump card for Kolkata in IPL 15.
