The Indian Cricket Team’s players have quite a tight schedule just after the final match of Indian Premier League will be played. The Indian Cricket Team full fixtures 2022 has been released. Rohit Sharma, the new captain, will be seen leading the team as they will revitalise and gear up for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup 2022 which will be held at Australia later this year. However, before the hefty tournament, the team is all set to play the five-match T20I series against South Africa i.e., on 9th of June, 2022 to 19th of June. According to official sources, some of the preeminent players such as Jasprit Bumrah, Virat Kohli and the captain himself, Rohit Sharma have been rested for the series of South Africa.

Soon after finishing off with the SA series, India will be touring off to England for the Test as well as limited-overs series. But before playing against the English side, India will have a two-match T20I series against Ireland. Not to mention, Asia Cup 2022 is soon to held in the month of August which will be played in T20 format. This will be of great help for especially the 5 nation who take part in the Asia Cup tournament to gird up one’s loins ahead of the T20 World Cup which will take place in the month of October-November. The T20 WC will not be the end of the cricket venture for the Indian Cricket Team in 2022. After the WC ends, Bangladesh will play an India tour series in December.
