India has completed its 75 glorious years of Independence on 15th August, 2022. The country has been celebrating the 75th year since Independence Day 2021. After an entire year’s commemoration, the people are exhilarated. Therefore, the BCCI has earlier talked of arranging India XI vs Rest of the World XI. On 16th September, Indian cricketing legends led by Sourav Ganguly will play a special match against World XI which will be commanded by skipper Eoin Morgan. Moreover, India vs World XI 2022 match will begin the second edition of Legends League Cricket. Although the opposition looks very strong, Indian players aim will be winning this to mark the special occasion.

Date
The match will be played on 16th September. The Legends League Cricket’s 2nd edition will begin with this special match. However, the dates for the other fixtures are not announced yet, it is believed that the tournament will begin on September 20th. The matches will go on till October.
Time
The India XI vs World XI 2022 telecast will begin at 19:00 IST. The live coverage of the T20 match will start at 07:00 PM for Indian audience.
Venue
The special match to mark India’s 75 years of independence will be played at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. India Maharajas and World Giants will lock horns. Earlier, the tournament was to be held in man. However, it was later shifted to India. Indian side will be led by the former revolutionary Indian captain Sourav Ganguly.

The 2nd season of Legends League Cricket will be telecasted on SonySports Network. In addition, the live steaming will be made available to the fans on the Sony Liv app.
