ICC Chairman Gregor Barclay is completing his two year term in october

PCB Chief Ramiz Raja‘s proposal of a four-nation tournament has been rejected by ICC Board. It has ended the speculations of possible India vs Pakistan battle other than the ICC tournaments. ICC New Chairman?

Another big decision was taken regarding the ICC’s new chairman who will be appointed after October. It’s a big win for Indian Cricket Board (BCCI) as it got sufficient time to finalize its nomination for the board chairman. BCCI’s AGM will take place in September which will decide the fate of the next ICC Board chairman.

“There has been no discussion on the renomination of Barclay. But he will finish his current two year term as a chairman till end of October. So the process of nominating a new chairman only starts in November

an ICC Board member told PTI
