India’s emerging opener batter to make his debut in LV= Insurance County Cricket. Shubman Gill to play for Glamorgan Cricket Club in his debut tournament in County Cricket.

Just like India’s very famous Ranji Trophy, the County Championship is the domestic first-class cricket competition in England and Wales and is organized by the England and Wales Cricket Board.
Shubman Gill to play for Glamorgan
Shubman Gill is all set to make his County Cricket debut. As he will be playing for Glamorgan Cricket Club in the upcoming LV= Insurance County Championship.

22- year- old, Gill is well known for his class batting. He made his first-class debut for Punjab against Bengal in the 2017-18 Ranji Trophy. With a half-century in the debut game, and 129 runs in the very next match against Services. And finally made is entry in International cricket playing for Indian Cricket Team in January 2019.
Quite famous for his U-19 performances, Gill has attracted and impressed many experts as well as veteran cricketers. His match-winning 102* in the U-19, 2018 edition, in the semi-final against arch-rivals Pakistan U19 team, drew praises. Which included praises from several great batters, such as Rahul Dravid, Sachin Tendulkar, VVS Laxman, and Sourav Ganguly.
“No technical issue”: Sachin Tendulkar
While Gill’s performance certainly not has been up to the mark, Tendulkar backs the young man and states, “When it comes to technique, different surfaces will test you differently. I think Shubman has an advantage as he played a very crucial inning (91) in Brisbane where we won the Test match. He has had the experience of playing on hard and bouncy tracks and I felt that he looked pretty comfortable. So, I don’t think there is any technical issue as such.”
