Facing each other for the second time this season, the Rishab Pant led side is one up against Yellow Army. Scheduled to meet at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai, doubt lingers over the possibility of the match.

According to sources, a new round of testing took place on Sunday morning, with all members of the contingent confined to their rooms.

Six members of the franchise, including physio Patrick Farhart, all-rounder Mitchell Marsh, keeper-batter Tim Seifert, and three other non-playing members, tested positive for the virus earlier in the season. The Capitals’ games against the Punjab Kings and Rajasthan Royals, which were initially slated to be played in Pune, have also been relocated to Mumbai.

According to IPL regulations, the Delhi Capitals will have to go through another round of testing, during which all players will be confined to their rooms.

The Delhi Capitals have blown hot and cold this season winning 50 percent of their games out of 10. However, what has been concerning for the side is that they haven’t won back to back games this season.
