1. Deepak Hooda

Deepak Hooda has been in the best form in 2022. He was consistent in IPL 2022 too. He scored 451 runs with an average of 32.21. His highest score in IPL 2022 was 59. He has scored 205 runs from 4 innings so far. He scored 151 runs from 2 innings in the India Tour Of Ireland. He smashed his maiden T20I century in this tour. He scored 104 in the 2nd T20I.

In the absence of Virat Kohli, Deepak Hooda will bat at no. 3. He can continue his batting form. He batted at no. 3 in IPL playing from Lucknow Supergiants. So he will be surely a player to watch out for.

2. Ravichandran Ashwin

Spinner Ravichandran Ashwin has made his comeback to the T20I side. He has picked 61 wickets from 51 games so far with an economy of 6.79. He played his last T20I game against Newzealand at Ranchi in 2021. Ashwin showed his All Rounder skills while playing from Runners Up Rajasthan Royals. He scored 191 runs with an average of 27.29. Even he scored a fifty. Even he picked wickets with an economy of 7.50.

He will be a great addition to the playing xi and he will be a player to watch out for.

3. Arshdeep Singh

Left arm pacer Arshdeep Singh recently made his T20I debut against England at Rose Bowl. Pacer impressed everyone with the figures of 2/18 in 3.3 overs. He bowled one maiden over too. Roy was finding it difficult to play his 1st over. Arshdeep swung the ball and made it difficult for England batters.

Arshdeep has performed consistently in IPL since 2020. He picked 10 wickets with an economy of 7.70 in IPL 2022. Even he picked 18 wickets in IPL 2021 whereas he picked 9 wickets in IPL 2020. He has bowled beautifully in death overs.

He can fit into the Playing XI as senior players have been rested. He will be the player to watch out for in 5 match T20I series.
