Rohit Tokas Biography

Rohit Tokas was born in New Delhi on August 1st, 1993. He is also lovingly known  as “Jerry.” Preet Singh Tokas is his father name. Anita Tokas is his mother name. He went to the Delhi University’s Delhi College of Arts & Commerce to study. He is presently employed for Indian Railways. Rohit follows Hinduism.

Famous Indian boxer Rohit Tokas has lately made headlines after securing another medal for India at the upcoming Commonwealth Games 2022.

When he was a college student, Rohit Tokas began boxing. He took first place in the 2010 Youth Men’s National Boxing Championships. He took home the silver medal from the 2011 Cuban Youth Olympics. At the first Dr. BR Ambedkar All India Men Boxing Tournament in 2012, he took home the bronze medal.

At the All-India Inter-University Games later in 2013, he took home the gold medal. In Thailand’s King’s Cup in 2017, he took home a bronze medal. He took home silver in the inaugural Elite Men’s National Boxing Championships in 2016. In Thailand’s King’s Cup in 2015, he once more took home a bronze medal.

He took home the bronze at the 2018 India Open in New Delhi. Rohit won the gold medal at the third Elite Men’s National Championships that same year. He then won the bronze medal at the Makran Cup in 2019. Rohit won the gold medal at the All India Inter Railway championships in April 2022.

Rohit is currently in position to add a medal to his already impressive career at the Birmingham Commonwealth Games 2022.
