Hailing from Orangeville, Ontario, Brett Ritchie and Nick Ritchie have been a brother-duo who’s been in NHL for a very long time now. The recent Flames-Coyotes deal links the 27 and 29-year-old brothers in a unique NHL record – The very first brother-for-brother swap in NHL History.
The Arizona Coyotes traded Nick Ritchie and defenseman Troy Stecher to Calgary Flames. Calgary on the other hand swapped the new addendums with Brett Ritchie and minor-leaguer Connor Mackey. The Flames-Coyotes Deal has left the NHL Fandom in awe and laughs.
Brett Ritchie, 29, was picked up by Stars in 2011. The Ontario-born player has 80 points in almost 375 games for multiple teams including Bruins, Stars, and Flames. On the other hand, his younger brother, 27 has 181 points in 465 games. Nick has played Ducks, Bruins, Maple Leafs, and Coyotes.
They was in the same team for a while – Boston Bruins in 2018-19 Season. However, The Brothers never played a game together.
