Two sides of London, with two different pictures. The white side is trying to sneak its way into the top four. And the Blue side is trying to have a respectable position in the league table. And in the battle between Porter and Conte, who would come out victorious? It is the derby between Chelsea and Spurs.
History of the Derby
They met for the first time on 18 December 1909 at Stamford Bridge as Spurs got promotion in 1909. They both struggled in that season and met a second time at White Hart Lane on 30 April 1910 in the final match of the season, a relegation decider. Though Chelsea got the upper hand in the first battle (2-1 victory for them), this time Spurs had the last laugh. They defeated Chelsea with a scoreline of 2-1 and Chelsea went down.
They met each other 174 times. Chelsea has 77 wins, 43 times no winners can be decided and Tottenham won 54 times.
