Tennis ace Naomi Osaka has given a major life update and it is bigger than any tennis court-related update she will ever provide.
Naomi Osaka Announces Pregnancy
Japanese tennis star Naomi Osaka took to social media to provide a major life update. The 25-year-old revealed to the world that she is pregnant and expecting to welcome her child into the world in 2024. She is expecting her first child with American rapper, Cordae. The former World No 1 additionally posted a picture of her pregnancy sonogram along with her message.
“I know that I have so much to look forward to in the future, one thing I’m looking forward to is for my kid to watch one of my matches and tell someone, ‘That’s my mom’, haha. 2024 will be a year that’ll be full of lessons for me and I hope to see you guys in the start of the next one cause I’ll be at Aus 2024. Love you all infinitely.”
Osaka Withdraws From the Australian Open
Naomi Osaka had previously withdrawn from the 2024 Australian Open without providing a reason. She is now expected to be an absent figure at the tennis courts for the rest of the 2024 after the official announcement of her pregnancy. But Osaka re-assured her fans that she expects to make a return at the 2024 Australian Open.
