Mehidy Hasan Miraj is having a gala batting against the touring Indian side. The right-handed batter sailed the Bangladeshi team past a win in the first ODI. And now, continuing on the same track has registered his maiden ODI century in the second match. Batting first, Mehidy Hasan Miraj along with Mahmudullah set the tone for a fighting total against India. Ultimately, Hasan’s persistent effort to score a three-figure score took form at the very last bowl of the innings.
Winning the toss once again, Litton Das chose to bat first on the same ground. However, the Indian bowling attack equipped with Siraj and Sundar stunned the Bangladeshi batting line-up very early in the match. Consistent efforts from Umran Malik, Mohammad Siraj, and Washington Sundar put India in an absolute dominant position in the match. At the end of the 19th over, the Bangladeshi innings looked wrapped and departed with 69/6. However, the situation took a sharp turn from then on as Mehidy Hasan Miraj got going.

Towards the end of the innings, Miraj made the bowling attack look clueless as they set up a partnership of 148. With sealing an impressive total for Bangladesh, Miraj chased his century that he attained in the last over. Mehidy hit two sixes in the last over as he amassed 15 runs to score the perfect 100* off 83. Ultimately, Bangladesh set a target of 271 for the guests as Umran, Siraj, and Sundar ended the attack with 2,2, and 3 wickets respectively.
