Star Indian tennis player Sania Mirza stirred quite a controversy when she married Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik back in 2010. The couple since then has achieved great heights in their respective careers together. However, as per the latest buzz, their marital bliss has been hit by a rough patch. The buzz picked up pace when Mirza shared a cryptic post on her social media account.
According to the latest reports, the couple has been living separately for quite some time now. And now, pulling on the last thread, Mirza and Malik are filing for a divorce. While the actual reason for the separation is still under the covers, the Pakistani media has cited infidelity on Malik’s part for the drastic step. Malik following a decreased appearance in Pakistan’s cricket team has grown an affinity for the entertainment business. And as per several Pakistani reports, it’s at one of these shows where Shoaib Malik cheated on Sania Mirza.

Giving further fuel to the speculations, Sania Mirza has been posting cryptic notes on social media lately. In her latest Instagram story, Mirza posted, “Where do broken hearts go. To find Allah.” Moreover, a while back, Mirza posted a photo of her with her son. In the caption, she noted, “The moments that get me through the hardest days”. If the reports are to be believed, despite separation, the couple has been co-parenting their 4-year-old son.
Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik tied the knot in 2010 amidst severe uproar. The relationship between the Indian player and the Pakistani cricketer irked the citizens of both sides. However, none of it affected the couple as they led an apparent good time with each other. In 2018, the duo became parents to a son, Izhaan Mirza Malik. However, seems like the 12-year-long relationship has come to an unfortunate conclusion.
