With the Reds manager sure that the unfortunate departure of Sadio Mane can be overcome, Jurgen Klopp has attempted to allay any worries within Liverpool by claiming, “you don’t have to be frightened when you think about us.” He has access to a wide range of other elite forwards. He does not anticipate a decrease in attacking danger.
As part of their preseason trip in preparation for the next Premier League season. The Reds are now in Bangkok, Thailand.
Last season, Manchester City narrowly defeated Liverpool for the championship before Sadio Mane left the club for Bayern Munich. Dissolving the potent attack trio he had developed with Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino.
This summer, a Senegal international who scored over 100 goals for the Liverpool team left for Bayern Munich. A new deal has been agreed to by Mohamed Salah. Luis Diaz and Diogo Jota are already in the mix, while intriguing Uruguayan attacker Darwin Nunez has just been added.
Jurgen Klopp on Sadio Mane’s departure
The following are Jurgen Klopp’s post-Mane plans for Merseyside:
“We know how good Sadio is, we will realize how good he was for us in moments because there were just ‘Sadio moments’ when no one else can do it like him.”
“That’s not a bad thing because two years ago Diogo Jota came in and Diogo did amazing stuff for us. Bobby Firmino had probably not the season we all expected. Because of injuries but in training Bobby is back, 100 per cent. He’s a world-class player.“

“You don’t have to worry when you think about us or you can be excited about what’s possible for us. We cannot do the same thing year-in, year-out, it’s just not possible. We have a base, we have to build on this base and be more unpredictable for other teams and that’s possible with bringing in other players because they have a different skill set.”
Klopp on Liverpool’s future
The Reds pursued an unprecedented quadruple last season, but their attempts to win the Premier League and the Champions League came up painfully short.
Only their domestic rival Manchester City have been as consistent as they have been lately. Jurgen Klopp thinks there is still more to come despite change being inevitable.
In addition, Neco Williams has followed Mane in leaving Anfield after his move to Nottingham Forest was officially announced. Klopp does not anticipate any other player arrivals this summer.
And the German has responses for the important queries he must address before the new season:
“How can you keep going? How can you improve a world class football team?” he said. “It’s by training, obviously – we believe in that a lot – but as well in bringing new players in. We need fresh blood, a new dynamic, fresh desire to create a team full of excitement and determination for the things coming.

“Sometimes you do it exactly like you want and sometimes you have to react on a situation like when Sadio told us that he wants to move on. We have to replace him, he’s a pretty good player. Thankfully we could do that already in the window by bringing in Luis (Diaz) and now Darwin. Fabio is a very exciting player.”
“The base is there but the opponents didn’t sleep, they’ve improved as well. We just have to make sure we are ready to fight with all we have for the three points and if we do that then we could be successful.”
