The BCCI president, Sourav Ganguly created internet havoc when he tweeted something about starting a new journey. In the post he mentioned his cricketing journey and thanked everyone who have supported him. After his expressed gratitude, he then wrote that he wants to start a new journey and asked for the support of his fans in the new chapter he’s going to enter in his life. Here’s the post:
However, the post went viral just after few minutes and created an internet storm as people started assuming things and making speculations regarding him leaving the post of the BCCI president. The rumors fled to him soon joining the politics. Although, these rumors were soon cleared off by the BCCI Secretary, Jay Shah. He shed light on the post and said, “The rumors doing round about Mr. Sourav Ganguly stepping down from the post of BCCI President are factually incorrect.” He also explicated that they have some exciting news for the public. “We have some exciting times in the form of media rights coming up and my colleagues and I are completely focused on the upcoming opportunity and safeguarding the interests of Indian Cricket.”

The BCCI President himself too contradicted the rumors as he shared another post on his social media handle. Sourav Ganguly launched his new educational app which will also provide tutorials in English, Hindi and Bengali as of now. See the post here:
However, not much information is shared about the app credentials, but Ganguly will make sure to reveal them much sooner.
