National Hockey League has named Jack Hughes from the New Jersey Devils, Elias Pettersson from the Vancouver Canucks, and David Pastrnak from the Boston Bruins were named the NHL’s “Three Stars of October” for their outstanding performances.

First Star – Jack Hughes: Hughes led the NHL with 18 points and 13 assists in just eight games, helping the Devils to a 5-2-1 record for the month. He set a new record for the most points by a Devils player in their first eight games of a season. Hughes also topped the League in power-play assists and power-play points, consistently delivering multi-point performances throughout the month.
Second Star – Elias Pettersson: Pettersson was a key player for the Canucks, ranking second in the NHL with 16 points, including 5 goals and 11 assists, in nine games. His performance helped the Canucks to a strong 6-2-1 start to the season. Pettersson’s stats put him in elite company, as only a few other Canucks players have achieved such a strong start to a season.
Third Star – David Pastrnak: Pastrnak was a powerhouse for the Boston Bruins, scoring 8 goals and 6 assists in 9 games. He contributed to the Bruins’ 8-0-1 start to the season, the longest point streak in franchise history. Pastrnak excelled in plus/minus, shots on goal, goals, and points, displaying his scoring prowess on multiple occasions.
The list, However, is a figment of the key players this month. The Canucks’ defenceman Quinn Hughes played exceptionally as well as Larkin and DeBrincat.
