Maple Leafs’ Auston Matthews inks sponsorship deal with KSI and Logan Paul’s Prime Hydration

Auston Matthews is the latest star athlete to sign with Prime Hydration, a company formed by YouTubers KSI and Logan Paul. He became the first-ever NHL Player to ink a deal with the company.

Recently, in an appearance at Toronto, Logan Paul indicated that they have signed someone big from Toronto. Logan said, “We may have just signed someone from the Toronto Maple Leafs to Prime. I can’t say who it is yet, but be on the lookout because we got another big signing.”

Matthews adds Prime Hydration to his list of sponsorships which includes RBC and Bet999. The addition of Matthews expanded the list of star athletes under Prime. The other key figures include Erling Haaland, Alisha Lehmann, and Alex Volkanovski. The company has also inked deals with LA Dodgers, FC Barcelona, Arsenal, and Bayern Munich. They even had a leading commercial at the Super Bowl.

Prime Hydration was introduced as a sports drink in 2022. Their Hydration Drinks are made of 10 percent coconut water and contain electrolytes, B Vitamins, and BCAAs. They have multiple flavors including Blue Raspberry, Glowberry, Grape, Ice Pop, and Tropical Punch amongst others.

The addition of Auston Matthews can attract a lot of younger customers to the brand. It can be also beneficial for the Maple Leafs and the NHL. Auston Matthews is undeniably one of the most famous and popular names in the league currently.

In his eighth season, Matthews has created and broken records, boosted the fan base, and elevated the presence of Toronto in the league. The 2016 Draftee signed a 4-year contract extension with an AAV worth $13.25 million.
