After a former 2 time NXT champion issued a challenge to the Visionary to end the show last week, Seth Rollins appeared on this week’s WWE NXT via video and accepted the challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship.
Seth Rollins accepts Bron Breakker’s challenge
It has almost been three weeks since Seth Rollins won the World Heavyweight Title after defeating AJ Styles at Night of Champions and the Visionary is already proving to be a fighting champion. After successfully retaining the title against Damian Priest, Rollins will defend his title against a heel Bron Breakker who failed to capture the NXT Title at Battleground.
Shawn Michaels announced many title matches for the two-week special Gold Rush on Twitter which included the World Heavyweight Championship match, aiming to grab the attention of viewers and the mass audience. Having Seth “Freakin” Rollins defend his title against a superstar like Breakker would definitely lead to viewership growth and account for a great match, even if the result is predictable. While Bron Breakker seems to be feuding with Ilja Dragunov, Seth Rollins is about to face his old rival Finn Balor at Money in the Bank on July 1st.
