In the pre-match press conference, Guardiola said, “Haaland is still recovering. We’ll be able to get more updates on his injury after our last training session before the match.” This said it would be interesting to see if Pep risks playing Haaland even if he’s declared fit.
The 22-year-old said he was feeling fine. But the medical staff will decide if they’re going to give him the green light.
City currently sits second in the league table with Arsenal leading the race with a 5-point lead. Although, Man City has a great squad, playing Haaland will definitely give City a much-needed boost against the Reds.
