Another disappointment could come for the Russians and Belarusians from Rome Masters.

Now, not only did the Wimbledon decide to ban Russian and Belarusian, but the report says that Rome Masters to also ban them. Due to the ongoing war on Ukraine, recently AELTC declared to ban the Russians and Belarusian from Wimbledon. Reports tell Rome Masters to ban Russian and Belarusian players following Wimbledon.

Actually, the Italian government is pressurizing the Rome Master to take the same step as Wimbledon organisers. Italian Open 2022 officially known as the Italian International Championship is scheduled from May 2-to 15 in Rome, Italy. This rumour can bring another huge upset for the Russians and Belarusian as the tournament schedule is all set. Another upset can be Rome Masters banning Russian and Belarusian players following Wimbledon.

Reports say that this restriction is spreading all over British tournaments followed by Wimbledon as Ukraine is their Ally. But, one’s emotions will affect others’ emotions too.

Rublev tried to settle on healthy terms with Wimbledon

Andrey Rublev, quarterfinalist of Wimbledon 2021 offered his prize money to donate to the Ukrainian families. He felt helping the needy using the prize money he will earn is a far better option rather than a ban. He also stated of “all the glory” will be of Wimbledon, Tennis will be the first sport to do that so.

Banning russian or belarusian players will not change anything, to give all the prize money would have a more positive effect to humanitarian help, I think that would do something

Rublev felt that this is just discrimination against them as acting this way would not affect the situation. The Belarusian Tennis Federation (BTF) also felt as incited hate and partiality on ethnic grounds.
