Diego Schwartzman is having a surprisingly great start to the clay season. He made to the quarterfinals in the Monte Carlo Masters last week before loosing in an epic showdown against Stefanos Tsitsipas. The argentine fought back form being a set and a break down and took the match into a deciding set. He was also leading the final set 4 games to 0, after which Tsitsipas pulled off a miracle win 6 games in a row. Despite loosing, the Argentine played excellent tennis throughout the tournament. Schwartzman had absolutely no trouble beating the American Mackenzie McDonald in the second round of the Barcelona Open. He will be looking to continue his solid clay form.
